This is the web site of H.B.Fuller's Global Coatings Division (GCD).  At GCD, we understand how critically important and valuable information is.  This Statement will explain how we gather information from this website, and how it may be used.  By visiting www.powderstore.com , you are accepting the practices described in this Statement.

What information does powderstore.com currently gather? 

We currently collect very little information about visitors who browse our Web page, and  our server does not currently recognize information regarding the domain or e-mail address of visitors.  This may change in the future, at which time this statement will be revised.  

Here are the types of information we gather:

• Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, updating our product offering, and communicating with you. 
• Aggregate Information: In addition to personal information you provide us, GCD uses technology that lets us know what type of browser you are using, the Web site from which you enter Powderstore , and the pages you view as you tour our site. This technology does not identify you personally — it simply helps us compile aggregated statistics about our guests and their use of our site. We use these statistics and may in the future share them with third parties to improve our Web site design and content and in connection with marketing programs.  
• E-mail addresses:  Occasionally, we will send e-mails to our file.  We respect your privacy and your time, so will only send out e-mails that we believe will be pertinent and interesting to you.  We do not share or sell our e-mail address list with other companies.  We often receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from www.powderstore.com if your computer supports such capabilities. In general, you can visit www.powderstore.com without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself.  You may choose, however, to provide information about yourself, such as your name and address, if you would like more information about GCD or would like us to contact you.

There are various technologies, including one called "cookies," which can be used to provide you with tailored information from a Web site. A cookie is an element of data that a Web site can send to your browser, which may then store it on your system. GCD’s site presently does not use or set cookies.  This may change in the future, at which time this statement will be revised.  

How is this information used?

• For marketing and promotional purposes. 

The information collected by this site is used only by us, for the purposes of marketing GCD’s products and services, and sending you requested information as appropriate.  We presently do not share any information gathered on this site with other companies.  Only aggregated information, such as total visitors over a period of time, would be shared with our partners or affiliated companies in the future, and this Statement will be revised to reflect this change if and when it occurs.   

If you supply us with your postal address on-line you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events.   If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by calling us at the number provided above.  Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such telephone calls, please let us know by sending us e-mail at the above address.   

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice.  If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.  If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.  

What can I do if I do not want my information used in any way, even in correspondence?

Simply send us an e-mail to that effect to Powderstore@hbfuller.com, and we’ll promptly remove you from our mailing list. 

What about security? 

We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.  

• We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. 
• It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer. 

What Choices Do I Have?

• As discussed above, you can always choose not to provide information. 
• If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please send us an e-mail at Powderstore@hbfuller.com 
• Though www.powderstore.com does not currently use or set cookies, the "help" portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. In addition, the Federal Trade Commission provides useful information about online privacy on its own Web site.
